That through training, the directorate shall seek to help every young person to attain fullness of life in spirit, mind and body and equip each person to become an active member of the church ready to assume any leadership position both in the church and society.
The directorate shall ensure that the affairs of the young people are ever kept before the whole church and that they are constantly brought into the fellowship of God's people, empowering them through worship, Bible study, prayer, caring and counseling so that in community of faith they would stand out as worthy ambassadors of Christ our Lord and the Methodist Church Ghana.
The directorate would also strive to be the voice of the voiceless and the vulnerable in the society.
